HTC launches 5-inch smartphone Butterfly for Rs 45,990 in India

HTC has launched its 5-inch screen smartphone Butterfly in India for Rs 45,990. The smartphone runs Android 4.1- Jelly Bean and also has HTC’s Sense 4+ software overlay.

• Display: 5-inch Super LCD screen with 1920×1080 pixel screen resolution, protection: Corning Gorilla Glass 2.


• CPU: 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 Pro quad-core processor


• Memory: 2GB RAM & 16GB internal storage(expandable upto 32GB via microSD card)


• Camera:8-megapixel rear camera,2-megapixel front-facing camera


• Battery: Non-removable 2,020mAh battery.


• Connectivity: LTE, 3G, High Speed Packet Access (HSPA)+,Bluetooth 4.0, NFC support

The smartphone is likely to compete with other 5-inch phones like Samsung Galaxy Note II, LG’s Optimus VU.
