New Sony Xperia names outed – Xperia SP (C530X) and Xperia L (C210X)

Sony is likely to brand C530X (named as HuaShan) as Xperia SP, revealed the website of Indonesia’s telecom equipment certification agency.  We also have the final branding for another Sony smartphone C210X, which will be released as Xperia L.

Both Sony Xperia SP and Xperia L are likely to be announced at coming Mobile World Congress (MWC) event.





The Xperia SP will run the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960T chipset with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and Adreno 320 graphics. It will also come with a 720p display.

The Xperia L is expected to run a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon chipset (either the MSM8227 or MSM8627) with Adreno 305 graphics. It will also have a FWVGA resolution (480 x 854) display with virtual buttons and run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
