Micro-Battery Breakthrough

Researchers at the University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign have engineered a new Li-Ion battery technology that is not only over 2000 times as powerful as a modern battery, but also significantly smaller.





As per Professor King, the new technology will change the way how electronics are created. so in near future in our cellphones batteries will be small but phone size remains same or increase.



And also the future batteries will charge within a few minutes and provide a great backup as compared to current batteries.
