A modular smart watch is coming in near future by UK team who are inspired by project Ara. Just like mobile device we can switch various components in smart watch too as per our preference instead of buying new one.
As you know now a days wearable tech are gaining popularity and they also evolving with time, so instead of buying a new watch if we can just install the new component in old watch that would be great right.
So using this idea in this watch you can customize the whole watch like screen. sensors, straps, camera, Bluetooth etc as per your choice. The strap is made up of different components which you can include and exclude as per your preference and they also trying to reduce the dependability of smart phone.
