Wireless charger can charge phone 15 feet away

As you know there are lots of wireless charger are available in the market, but we also know they are actually not wireless instead you just need to place your phone in to pad which will charge your phone. It means again, you have to place your phone at specific location which is very similar to charging with wire.

Many companies are doing R&D on charging a phone without any wire or contact as we heard previously that Nokia is also working on the same. Now Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology has designed a charger which can charge your devices from 15 feet away.

In above image box of nine feet in length that is packed with coils and which can deliver power through a magnetic field up to 15 feet away.

The professor went on to say “Just like we see Wi-Fi zones everywhere today, we will eventually have many Wi-Power zones at such places as restaurants and streets that provide electric power wirelessly to electronic devices.”  “We will use all the devices anywhere without tangled wires attached and anytime without worrying about charging their batteries.”

Check out the video below how it working

In future we may see the desk in our offices/Restaurents/Malls etc..which will charge our phones without connecting to any wire or pad.

Let us know what do think in comments.
