DinnerTime (Parental Control) - App for Android

As we all know that we are investing much time on our mobile devices instead of talking to each other and love to play games on mobile and even forget to take dinner or lunch. So this app will help parents to lock their children devices they are using and have time to munch.

The DinnerTime app enables parents to pause activity on a child's gadget. Everything from apps and the internet to texting and calling friends is temporarily disabled.

The app has 4 main features:
• Dinner Time: pauses any activity for 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours
• Take a Break: pauses any activity for any set time, up to 24 hours
• Bed Time: set a start and end time to pause any activity while in bedtime. Still allow your kids to use their devices as an alarm clock during bedtime
• Ability to share the DinnerTime control with another parent by linking to their phone number

So parents can easily lock their child devices by his/her phone and can set up an interval till the device unlock, here are some screens shown below

 

During these “break” times the child’s ability to use their device - everything from apps to the Internet to texting and calling friends - is temporarily disabled, only incoming calls are allowed while you spend quality time together. Kids can even see the countdown of how much time remains before they are able to access their device again, without any distractions from schoolwork, spending time with the family, or even getting to bed on time.

Just install this app on the parent's device (Android phone) and also on your kid's device (Android phone or Android tablet). Easily link the two together and you’re all set. The iOS support for parent’s device is also available now.
