Previously Lenovo has made a statement that Flipkart is not authorized seller of Lenovo and there is no warranty, If you buy a Lenovo phone from Flipkart. And now Dell said that Snapdeal is not the authorized dealer for Dell Laptops and Ultrabooks. They have mentioned the same in top of Laptop and Ultrabook page as shown below
Dell says:
• Snapdeal.com is not a Dell authorized reseller and Snapdeal.com is not authorized to make any representation for and on behalf of Dell products, benefits and entitlements.
• Dell products purchased from / on Snapdeal.com shall be entirely at your own risk , cost and consequences.
• Dell may not honor any representations, benefits, entitlements made on Dell products by /or Snapdeal.com.
Lenovo made the statement because most of the people got defected mobile bought via Flipkart, so the service centers are getting full. So may be the same case is happening with Dell too.
So before buying any electronics products from any retailer like Flipkart, Snapdeal etc..first check product website to make sure your product will be covered under warranty and the seller is a authorized.
